- Sourcing new products whilst optimising current assortment.
- Negotiating best cost prices.
- Building & maintaining strong relationships with current suppliers
- Ensuring selected product lines achieve season defined timeframes.
- Analysing sales figures to plan successful future lines.
- Working with Marketing to develop promotional plans.
- Negotiate the best possible contracts & terms.
- Working closely with the individual stores to streamline any issues.
- Constant competitor and price analysis to ensuring product offerings stay relevant
- Presenting reports, figures, and trend information to the Senior Management team
- Proven previous experience as a Buyer / Category Manager within Household or Health and Beauty
- Ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Able to adapt swiftly in a fast-paced market.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
- Good working knowledge of budgets and managing conflicting projects.
- Excellent understanding of all MS Office products.

You will be responsible for supporting the Senior Buyer/Head Of Buying to deliver commercially focused product ranges that meet both Departmental and Company targets, while maintaining a strategic business focus to ensure continued growth within the department.
