FJR Finance are currently recruiting for Management Accountant for a leading organisation based in Manchester City Centrefor up to 6 months with potential to go permanent


The Role
The Management Accountant is a pivotal role within the finance function and to the wider business.

You will work closely with the Finance Controller to assist in the production of month end management accounts and maintain financial controls.

You will alsobe heavily involved in the development of improving processes to enhance the department's contribution the company.


This role will ideally suit someone with month-end experience, dealing with projects, speaking to non-finance and someone who is keen to develop with an exciting and growing business.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Posting monthend accruals, prepayments
  • Monthend management accountants
  • Maintaining accurate intercompany records
  • Budgeting and Forecastings.
  • Support balance sheet financial controls
  • Month end duties
  • Year End

Your Profile


You are a motivated, proactive individual who works on their own initiative and that can work in a flexible, evolving and changing environment.

You should be keen to develop, get stuck in, take accountability with a positive 'can-do' mentality.

  • Qualified or QBE
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, evolving environment
  • Comfortable learning new tools and systems to improve processes
  • Must be able to communicate effectively facetoface and virtually
  • Working in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong systems knowledge
  • Be immediately available/1 weeks notice

Salary & Benefits
The Management Accountant will pay up to £50,000 (Dependant on experience) plus excellent benefits. The role will be full-time in the office
