Reporting to the Administration Manager and responsible for providing an efficient and effective administrative service within Amberley Lodge Care Home (located in Kings Lynn) ensuring high standards of customer service is achieved at all times and all activities are in line with the Athena Care Home vision.

You will have day to day responsibility for;

  • Update Resident records daily.
  • Raise purchase orders, confirm deliveries and process invoices.
  • Liaise with local authorities and CCGs with regard to admissions, discharges and funding agreements.
  • Ensure resident contracts are signed and scanned with all relevant documentation.
  • Update enquiries daily.
  • Maintain daily cash flow records.
  • Manage weekly banking.
  • Manage residents personal money and reconcile monthly.
  • Manage Petty Cash.
  • Manage credit control.
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment and training.
  • Process team member time and attendance records for payroll purposes
  • Manage accuracy of personnel records.
  • Provide management reports.
  • Manage the provision of front of house duties and lead a reception team on the delivery of first class customer service.

About you
You will have excellent customer service, communication and IT skills, ideally Microsoft Office, together with an eye for detail.

You are organised, numerate and accurate, with a 'can-do' attitude.


You are confident in handling personal and sensitive data and ensuring it is maintained in a confidential manner, at all times.
