    The Event Marketing Manager will be the primary owner for driving the success of these events, and also be responsible for communicating progress at various levels in the organization. They will help to establish measurable best practices for growing the program towards achievement of goals, set up scalable processes, and develop methods for automation to improve overall efficiency.

    The ideal candidate balanced creativity with analytics and has strong program management skills. They thrive in ambiguous environments and are energized by situations where they need to roll up their sleeves to get things done. They are able to influence senior stakeholders across the organization while listening to problem statements and finding opportunities to engage and delight customers. They must have a strong track record in building scalable marketing/promotional programs across multiple channels and with various types of events (trade shows, owned conferences, and virtual events).

    Key job responsibilities

    Own event strategy and management from inception to assessment.

    Develop and execute novel event approaches to drive customer engagement through events

    Develop and execute overall event strategies, including collaborating with US team to establish the event playbook

    Own and develop a high bar of customer experience for all events in the organization

    Manage go to market event strategies, including key proposals and execution plans for each event

    Liaise with senior internal stakeholders to develop timely inputs, set-up processes across other functions of the organization to maintain a high bar on quality execution

    Compile, analyze, and present performance metrics and enlighten potential opportunities for program growth

    Establish guidelines and best practices across teams, leading and contributing to event calendar, stakeholder communications, standard operating procedures (SOP), vendor lists, and documentation of mechanisms.

    Contribute to strategy docs as they relate to events

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    5+ years' experience in event marketing (including execution)

    5+ years of experience producing and scaling medium to large events and trade shows

    Strong oral and written communication skills

    Experience analyzing and interpreting data to make business recommendations.

    Ability to self-start and work both independently and within a team

    Strong bias for action: can manage multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Exhibits ability to stay calm under pressure; resilient to set-backs

    Pivots easily from generating big, creative ideas to executing and driving process improvement

    Proven ability to influence without authority

    Partners effectively with multiple stakeholders

    Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and make decisions autonomously.

    Demonstrated high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

    Experience managing complex and highly visible projects with success.

    Experience with MS Word, Power Point and SharePoint
