    Forestry and Land Scotland manages and protects Scotland's national forests and land. Join us and take pride in helping look after Scotland's national forests and land.

    Our Land Agents work closely with various teams and stakeholders to manage a diverse portfolio of agreements, including renewables, telecoms, agricultural, crofting, residential and mineral leases.

    We offer one of the most diverse rural estates portfolios in Scotland. You will also be a senior member of a multi-disciplinary team of over 140 staff within the Region dealing with a wide variety of land management roles.

    This role is suited to someone with a background in Rural Surveying or Land Agency

    What you will do

    Area Land Agents are part of our Regional Teams. East Region covers Fife to the Moray Coast. You will report directly to the East Region Manager, working closely with the Regional Leadership Team to meet regional objectives. There may be a need to line manage others. There is dedicated administration support to the land agency team within the Region as well as local colleagues that the post holder will work with including a building surveyor, foresters, forest planners, civil engineers and our recreation and visitor services staff. The post-holder will also liaise as required with our national team colleagues.

    The Central Region post will ideally be based in our Huntly or Durris offices although other options

    including Dunkeld and Inverness may be possible. Hybrid working is routine within FLS.
