    Summary

    We are actively searching for a Field Service Engineer to join our team of wonderful people based in close proximity to cover the North of England (Cumbria/Co Durham/Yorkshire primarily)..

    You will be required to optimally deliver a complete technical service and support for all equipment supported by Baxter, across a wide portfolio of medical equipment.

    The role will be working Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm (with flexibility around work requirements)

    In this role you will focus on a few key areas:

  • Commissioning and installing machines at Baxter or Customer sites
  • Effectively servicing a broad range of machines in accordance with manufacturers and local UK requirements
  • Efficiently diagnosing faults and repairing machines
  • Connect, manage, fix, and help resolve lower-level device integration and network connectivity problems with connected devices.
  • Flexible in providing emergency cover and undertaking emergency maintenance on-site contributing to the overall team capacity
  • Completion of detailed service reports recording all required information for all work undertaken.
  • Maintaining accurate stock records for all inventory held and handling inventory levels
  • Maintaining complete monthly reports to record time spent on activities not collected on service reports
  • Providing support and coaching to customers where required
  • Proactively maintaining and extending own and others' skill base and technical knowledge through personal development and training
  • We are looking for someone that has:

  • Electro-mechanical engineering background supported by a technical qualification (e.g. ONC/HNC)
  • Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer (Medical industry preferred)
  • Ability to work optimally and efficiently in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize the daily work schedule
  • Adaptable to carrying out different tasks based on the daily scheduling of staff
  • Establish and maintain good working and interpersonal relationships
  • The ability to communicate and work with all manner of team members, in a conscientious and inclusive way.
