About Us:


Classroom Recruiters, on behalf of a leading children's residential homes in the Swadlincote area, is seeking individuals who are passionate about starting a meaningful career in care.

This is an excellent opportunity for those already in the care sector who are eager to transition into the special needs domain or work with children.


Role Overview:


As an Unqualified Children's Residential Support Worker, you play a pivotal role in providing support to children with special needs.

No formal qualifications are needed, as we offer a comprehensive paid training program to kickstart your career in this rewarding field.

Your journey begins with an induction week covering paperwork, policies, and expectations, allowing you to interact with the senior leadership team.

Following induction, you'll benefit from a two-week shadowing period with experienced staff, ensuring a smooth transition and fostering positive relationships with the children.

This gradual onboarding approach provides time for acclimatization, enabling you to establish positive connections with the children. Weekly reviews offer continuous support and address any questions or concerns, ensuring your success in this diverse role. Engage in various activities, day trips, educational support, and meal preparation, creating a nurturing environment for children to thrive.


Extra Training - Absolutely FREE


Collaborating with a third-party training provider, we offer additional training in areas such as children's mental health, behavior management, teaching assistant, special needs, ADHD, and more.


What We Offer:

Full Training: A comprehensive week-long training program.

Ongoing Support: A two-week shadowing period with experienced staff post-induction.

Gain Extra Qualifications: Opportunity to pursue Level 2 and then Level 3 Health and Social Care courses.
