Payroll Analyst - London - PAYE
Gibbs hybrid is looking for several Payroll Analysts to support the payroll processing for weekly and monthly payrolls.
The Payroll Analyst will own and manage the end to end UK payroll process as well as communicate with various stakeholders on all mattersrelating to UK Pay.
This is a PAYE role, requiring 2 days onsite work in the London/ Kingston offices- Managing the end to end UK payroll process
- Reviewing payroll instructions and results to signing off payment/payrolls and off cycle pay runs.
- Working with stakeholders to allocate costs and outputs.

Essential
- Good customer service skills
- Payroll operations
- Financial analysis
- Previous experience in enterprise clients
- Experience working in and running a large payroll
- SAP GlobalView and Workday experience, helpful
- Knowledge of UK payroll legislation (such as PAYE, NIC, P60, P11d, P45, statutory payments)
- Experience of working with third party payroll vendors
- Highly numerate, advanced Excel skills to interrogate data
- Experience in selfmanaging projects, tracking tasks and assessing progress, handling data accurately
- Good communication skills, being able to explain complex scenarios to senior employees and stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail (data accuracy and identification of errors)
- Previous experience of responding to pay queries /managing the Payroll mailbox and resolving issues.
- Ensuring that employee payroll data is correct and setup in time for cut off
- Responsible for ensuring that UK tax and social security is correctly calculated and paid over to the authorities.
- Provide retroactive corrections to HMRC via the correct process.
- Corresponding with HMRC and other third parties
- Ad hoc activities such as faster payment runs, tracking overpayments, ONS requests and checking the 3rd party payroll providers calculations.
