I am looking for a Financial Controller for an SME business in Watford

This is a sole charge role so you will be responsible for the full accounts cycle from invoicing to year end close

This is a unique opportunity to join a business and truly get stuck into the detail and implement processes for finance as the company continues to grow and expand

You will be a Qualified Accountant with a desire to make a change to a business


Main duties include:

  • Cashflow
  • P&L reporting
  • Financial Analysis
  • Management Accounts
  • VAT Returns
  • Tax returns
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Support external accountants
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Monthly payroll
  • Coordinate year end Audit
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Budgeting
  • Forecasting
  • Process improvement and implementing new systems
This role includes all elements of accounts, and it is essential you are happy doing the transactional responsibilities as well as the monthly reporting

If successful, the role is paying £60,000 - £70,000 plus bonus. Benefits include private healthcare, staff meals provided, hybrid working (2 days a week at home) and parking on site.

My client is looking for a Qualified Accountant who has previous Audit experience.
