Are you an organised and efficient individual with a passion for providing excellent administrative support? West Berkshire Council is looking for an Administrative Support Officer to join our Finance and Property Service, based at Market Street Offices.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive team, contributing to the smooth running of our essential services.

As an Administrative Support Officer, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including:

  • Assisting with the processing of financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
  • Providing general administrative support to the Service Manager and wider team
  • Handling enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a professional and helpful approach
  • Coordinating meetings, including arranging venues, preparing agendas, and taking minutes

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage your workload effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of your work
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to interact confidently with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
