    Facilities Maintenance Engineer (Days)

    Telford, Shropshire.

    Manufacturing Business.

    £35,000 - £38,500 per annum + Pension (8% employer contribution) + Life Assurance (x4) + Healthcare + discretionary bonus.

    Monday - Friday / 37 hours per week / 8:15am - 5:00pm (Mon - Thur) / 8:15am - 12:15pm (Fri)

    Owing to a pending retirement within their Building Services / Facilities Team, a rare opportunity has arisen to join a long established, globally recognised FMCG manufacturing company as a Facilities Maintenance Engineer.

    This role will suit a facilities engineer who has exposure to working within a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. Other facilities Engineering experience is also very much considered if you have a proactive approach to learning to work within an industrial manufacturing environment.

    Role Description

    • Provision of both Reactive & Planned Preventative Maintenance across a wide range of Facilities and Building Services.
    • Fault Finding both Electrically and Mechanically.
    • Perform installation work, supporting site and process modifications including supplies and services to work equipment.
    • Fault finding and repair across HVAC plant, electrical systems, BMS, pneumatic and energy monitoring systems.
    • Keeping H&S at the forefront when all work is conducted.
    • Working within a team of 5 other facilities engineers.
    • Reporting on recurrent faults and facilitating repair activities with the Engineering team / supervisor.
    • Reporting into the Engineering Supervisor.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Facilities / Building Services Maintenance experience.
    • Formal Mechanical or Electrical Qualifications - Level 3+.
    • Ability to perform both planned and reactive Maintenance.
    • Experience of working within a manufacturing environment (desirable).
    • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
