Facilities Maintenance Plumber required for my client, the global leader in washroom controls for commercial and public buildings.

The role is initially an ongoing contract position servicing and maintaining plumbing work at a public healthcare facility,however could go permanent.


Key Responsibilities of Facilities Maintenance Plumber:

  • Ensure compliance in line with all processes and policies that meets organisational Health & Safety standards.
  • Deliver planned and reactive maintenance services ensuring that operational standards are maintained at all times.
  • Duties may include (but not limited to) fault finding, minors repairs or installations and maintaining services and equipment within critical environments.
  • Ability to assess problems to determine the best course of action including electromechanical technical issues.
  • Support the Building Services maintenance team and colleagues in providing excellent customer service at all times.

Skills and Qualifications of Facilities Maintenance Plumber:

  • Relevant qualifications such BTEC or City & Guilds in building services or plumbing and advantage.
  • Previous experience working within a building maintenance environment, preferably within public and commercial facilities such as hospitals, schools etc.
  • Experience in the maintenance of building systems in particular plumbing and taps.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety processes.
