    The Practice

    Tovey Little Dental Centre is a m ixed practice in the city of Wakefield, West Yorkshire , located near major motorways and Wakefield Westgate train station for an easy commute, Tovey Little Dental Centre is near Wakefield Cathedral and The Hepworth Art Gallery. The practice is fully equipped with Sirona chairs , fully digital radiography , and rotary endo , with a dedicated and experienced team to support, and a highly skilled experienced manager on hand daily. The practice offers a blend of Health Services and Private treatments, in addition to cosmetic treatments.

    The Opportunity

    As a Receptionist , you will join our team based in Wakefield on a Part-Time basis (Mon - Thurs). As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring their experience with us is positive from the moment they walk through the door. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a dental practice, exceptional communication skills, and strong attention to detail. You must be able to multitask and work well under pressure while always maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

    Responsibilities include:

  • Greet patients with a warm and friendly demeanour, making them feel welcome and at ease
  • Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times
  • Collaborate closely with our dental team to coordinate patient appointments and optimize office efficiency
  • Provide administrative support, including managing patient files, ordering supplies, and other general office duties as needed
  • Follow treatment plans for private Dentists
  • Make appropriate private treatment bookings
  • Offer finance options to patients
  • Work with private Dentists to promote treatments
  • Work with our Digital Marketing team to promote the practice
  • Requirements and skills:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or dental setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for helping others
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have a positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of our patients and team.
