YMCA Robin Hood Group are pleased to be recruiting an exciting new position to be part of our successful Funding and Development team.


We are looking for a driven and resourceful Digital Fundraising Officer to help build and elevate our charitys online donor relationships.


Ideally, you will be experienced in managing individual donation activities, particularly within a digital context, and have a proven understanding of donor acquisition, retention, and stewardship techniques.


Working closely with both the Funding and Marketing teams, you will be responsible for building YMCA Robin Hood Groups individual giving processes, establishing a donor base and coordinating donor communications that are cohesively integrated into wider marketing and funding activities.

On a day to day, you can expect your role to include:

  • Work with the Head of Corporates, Commercial, Sponsorship and Donations and Head of Marketing to develop, manage and optimise YMCA Robin Hood Groups digital fundraising income
  • Build and develop a digital fundraising plan, integrated with the wider funding, marketing and communications plans
  • Act as the digital champion within the organisation, supporting on the planning, management, execution, and optimisation of PPC and Google Analytics activities across the organisation
  • Develop donor acquisition campaigns to build an engaged donor base
  • Develop and manage the charitys stewardship and retention activity to keep donors of all levels engaged online and offline
  • Support and facilitate community fundraising activities through management of digital platforms such as JustGiving, eBay for Charity and similar initiatives
  • Create, commission and curate impactful content and copy to support fundraising activities, in collaboration with the Marketing team and supportive design agencies
  • Develop a robust SEO strategy, ensuring we are increasing website traffic for all funding pages of the website(s)
  • Track, analyse and test KPIs and metrics for all digital fundraising activity, evaluate and report on outcomes, ensuring learnings are implemented for future activity
About You


You will have gained online fundraising experience in your previous role and be able to come into this role and steer us towards the most effective way of maximising online donations.


You will share our passion for the work we are undertaking across our organisation and be driven to maximise every opportunity open to us.


You will be self-motived and able to work under your own esteem; we don't believe in micro-managing rather trust and empowerment so you are able to work to your maximum potential.


You will be a great communicator and able to interact with people at all levels and from all backgrounds; you will have excellent written English and able to compose documents for publication written to a high standard.
