    Construction Recruitment Group are now looking to hire a Desktop Support Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor with projects in the UK, Ireland and Europe.

    The successful candidate will join an expanding IT team and will benefit from a supportive culture, where ideas and contributions will be recognized.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    · Azure Active Directory and on-prem administration.

    · Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.

    · Managing company software needs.

    · Troubleshooting network and user issues.

    · Knowledge of servers, networking and cloud solutions.

    · IT Setup of new projects offices and periodic site visits.

    · Ability and drive to document, to a high level, manuals and processes.

    · Service desk Que knowledge and ticketing experience.

    · Knowledge of Teams, SharePoint and Microsoft Application support.

    · General IT oversight within a hybrid office setting.

    Overview of Knowledge Required:

    · Experience in a similar role 2 -3 years

    · A good understanding of customer service delivery in an IT environment.

    · Experience with desktop hardware and software, including operating systems

    · and MS Office products.

    · Excellent troubleshooting and time management skills.

    · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide customer services support to a wide range of users throughout the Group.

    · Working Knowledge of databases and business intelligence.

    · Experience working in IT in the construction industry is a bonus but not a must.
