- After instruction from the Electrical Contracts Manager, manage all aspects of the onsite works/project from order/award to completion. This will include assisting with the coordination of projects including any subcontractors.
- Effectively work alongside Technicians from other disciplines to deliver turnkey projects.
- Line management of electrical onsite teams including coaching and training where needed.
- Provide timely updates to the project programme and communication of the programme to all stakeholders. Identify and report any programme issues.
- To manage the resources relating to the works/project on a day-to-day basis and to report any staff issues as appropriate.
- Lead and motivate the team and find areas of improvement. Lead the team to implement any improvements found.
- Always maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, during the installation period.
- Maintain all site records including all paperwork associated with running CDM compliant sites.
- Ensure all project reporting is supplied upstream and downstream promptly.
- Ensure materials are efficiently ordered to keep the project running smoothly.
- Provide cost estimates for minor additional works or small quotations when required.
- Ensuring all work complies with IEE Standards, conducting reviews and suggesting improvements where necessary.
- Electrical services installations in industrial and commercial environments.
- Cable tray, ladder systems, and containment installation, power and control cable installation and terminating.
- Installation of instrumentation cable systems and terminating.
- Installation and commissioning of equipment for industrial facilities.
- Troubleshoot equipment on site and provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning on site.
- Ability to read schematics and other drawings.
- Being willing to travel when required.
- Qualified approved electrician (Level 3 or equivalent) with 2 years' time served as a minimum within industrial and commercial environments.
- 3 years of experience of supervising works and projects to reach completion within the agreed timescale.
- Experience of coordinating M&E installation and commissioning.
- Ability to adhere to stringent Health and Safety rules and promote a safe working environment.
- Positive, flexible, and pro-active attitude to work with a desire to influence others to adopt a similar attitude.
- Must be able to remain calm under pressure whilst working to strict deadlines.
- Familiarity with completing permits to work and will be able to complete accurate and concise paperwork.
- To receive and fully understand client briefs and any project constraints.
- Experience in a customer facing role, with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:
Excellent working knowledge of IT systems, including Office 365.
18th Edition Qualified.
2391 Inspection and Testing qualified (or equivalent).
CSCS card – essential & SMSTS course – essential.

Must have a Full driving licence.
