We have a vacancy for a Legal Advisor to provide high level specialist legal advice in the support of the delivery of the University's strategy. With extensive experience in the provision of contractual and legal advice, you will take the lead on and manage a complex and varied workload, needing to build strong, productive relationships with stakeholders (at all levels) across the University and with external partners.

Your approach will be flexible and adaptable, and you will bring significant legal experience, knowledge, and skills across the area of contracts and commercial, regulatory and compliance.

You will provide contractual and legal advice to academic and professional service colleagues. Ensuring contracts move forward efficiently whilst protecting the University's interests is an essential part of the role, as is managing your own time and portfolio of work.

You will ensure maximum benefit to the University whilst appropriately managing risk and ensuring compliance with legislation and University policies.
