Would you like to help to evaluate a new initiative that aims to reduce health literacy barriers to services to help address health inequalities? Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS) have employed a Health Literacy Officer.

Researchers at the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield are working in collaboration with DCHS to evaluate this initiative.

We are looking for a Research Associate with skills in mixed methods research and an interest in reducing inequalities in health care.

We are looking for someone with a Masters in a health-related area e.g.

public health, research methods (or equivalent experience), and who has experience of designing and running surveys, and undertaking and analysing qualitative interviews.

The post is based at ScHARR at the University of Sheffield which is one of the leading groups of researchers in the country making a difference to health and care.
