They have fantastic business relationships for translations with some of the industry's most recognised companies.


LOCATION

100%, fully remote working. Must be UK based


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To join their international translation department, they wish to recruit a Translation Project Manager. You will be working as part of a friendly team that work on large and complex translation projects.

The role will mostly be to provide support to SeniorProject Managers/Team Lead., handle a series of localisation projects and assist in the management of larger projects, cost-effectively, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Your role will typically include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Assisting Senior Project Manager/Team Lead in preparing quotes based on client requirements.
  • Selecting appropriate resources from a database of translation professionals, ensuring that we can supply when required the correct breadth of languages, experience, cost and expertise
  • Coordination of human and technical resources to achieve the successful completion of projects and jobs
  • Monitoring progress of projects and identifying and escalating any concerns regarding the quality and timeliness of the project.
  • Liaising with customers
  • Achieving agreed deadlines.
  • Participating in client calls and meetings where appropriate
  • Completing other tasks as requested by Project Managers/Senior Project Managers/Team Lead or Head of Operations.

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

  • Fluent English is essential. Knowledge of another language is an advantage but not essential
  • Educated to degree level a translation or languages degree preferred
  • Previous translation project management experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with strong numeric and analytical skills
  • Highly motivated, with demonstrated problem solving and organisational skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable enough to be able to work in a variety of roles in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in order to prioritise workload and meet client deadlines
  • Ability to take responsibility and ownership and use initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

S ALARY, WORKING HOURS & BENEFITS
£26,000 - £30,000.
