    We have a new job opportunity (part time, 3 days a week) for a Spanish speaking Finance Assistant to join an international company in central London.

    Your responsibility will be to manage the day to day finance administration for their clients and operations in Spain.
    Central London office (City)

    Language requirements for the job
    Fluent Spanish and English

    Our client is a hugely successful international company, working in niche business markets (such as Sports, Technology, Life Sciences & Pharma , Oil & Gas and Telecoms) across Europe.

    Job responsibilities of the Spanish speaking Finance Assistant

    In order to support their clients in Spain with daily finance operations, they now wish to hire a Spanish speaking Finance Assistant.

    You will focus areas in accounting such as wages, payroll, sales ledger, purchase ledger and VAT returns according to Spanish law.

    Manages wages & salary information to the Accountant in Spain (enter Wage journals and make payments etc onto the accounting system)
    Sales Ledger activities - produce sales invoices, enter them on accounting System
    Purchase Ledger - manage supplier invoices, enter them on accounting System and make supplier payments
    Bank reconciliation against the Accounting System
    Maintain Employee Records - payroll etc
    Manage staff queries for payroll, compensation, benefits
    Fluent Spanish and English is essential
    Previous accounting experience relating to Spain and business law
    Sales & Purchased ledger experience
    A negotiable base salary of c£38,000 pro rata (this is a 3 day a week job). Company benefits (25 days holiday, healthcare and excellent company events).
