An exciting opportunity has arisen to take up a new role as the Clinical Improvement Support Officer.


We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has a full range of administration abilities and has the confidence to work autonomously within a busy team and enjoys the challenge of supporting practitioners to improve clinical practice.


Main responsibilities will include understanding the operational delivery of the service and roles within clinical improvement team to be able to support all clinical practice improvement initiatives.


Providing high quality accurate and timely, administrative support to audits and projects; organising meetings, maintaining information systems, action logs and high-quality formatting of documents, ensuring the timely and robust production, dissemination of agenda's papers/reports/minutes, identifying any action points and following up on progress.

Develop and maintain the administration of clinical reporting and data collection processes, utilising advance excel skills.

Support the development and maintenance of the Clinical Improvement/Clinical zone intranet page ensuring staff can access accurate and up-to-date information.

The Clinical Improvement Support Officer will work with the Head of Clinical Improvement for Nursing and AHP's supporting the administration requirements within the division for example, reports, organising and minuting meetings, guidelines, audit, policies, education, training and competencies.


The role will provide support to practitioners in the Clinical Improvement Division to enable the improvement of patient care across adults and children including palliative and end of life care.


Support the clinical improvement team in the ordering clinical education supplies, training, and expenditure in line within allocated budget and divisional cost improvement plans.
