We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Design Technology Teacher specializing in Resistant Materials to join our dynamic team in a school in Enfield.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Design Technology, with a focus on Resistant Materials.
Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of students while adhering to national standards.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to support student learning and engagement.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support as needed.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Design Technology or relevant subject area.
Experience teaching Resistant Materials at the secondary level is highly desirable.
Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service is required.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to workshop environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to departmental initiatives.
