£An excellent opportunity has arisen at a top 20 law firm for two paralegals to assist on a high profile compliance project.

The compliance paralegal role will include conducting due diligence on complex clients, including international corporate entities, trusts and start-ups.

Following this due diligence you will use analytical skills to ascertain if they pose any conflicts of interest or money laundering risks.

Applications are welcome from those with excellent academics (eg A's at A-Level, and a minimum of a 2.1) and must have a law degree or GDL.

Prior experience in a law firm as a paralegal or legal administrator would be an advantage.
Relevant experience (eg conducting due diligence and AML checks in the finance sector) will also be considered.

The role would be ideal for a law graduate seeking a career in compliance, or equally a future trainee looking for short term work before starting their training contract.

The compliance paralegal role is initially for 12 months but for some of the team the role could be extended to / become permanent for the right person/people.
