Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with an NHS Trust in Leicestershire who are seeking to appoint a Financial Accountant to assist the capital team on a 3 month initial contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the busiest and bestTrust's in the country. The role will report into the Capital Development Accountant.

The role

  • The post holder will ensure that all accounting transactions, for which they have responsibility, are treated and handled in accordance with the latest professional accounting standards and the post holder's accounting body's professional code of ethicalconduct, seeking technical advice as appropriate to inform this.
  • The post holder will ensure the General Ledger Reconciles to the Fixed Asset Register monthly.
  • The post holder will ensure that they account for transactions relating to IFRS16 and ensure the relevant workbooks are maintained.
  • The post holder will be involved in month end and year end reporting, including Internal and External Audit.

Experience

  • Significant experience at management level in a finance department with experience of capital accounting and cash flow forecasting
  • Communication and relationship skills
  • Understanding of the various IFRS accounting standards
  • Professional Accountancy Qualification or qualified through experience
