Profession , Grade Contract Type Hours You need to or to save a job.Looking to join a friendly collegiate team at the forefront of delivering innovative respiratory care in Devon? Opportunities to take part in research and innovation, service development, or teaching within a large Trust that prides itself on patient care are balanced with family values and a flexible and fair approach to job planning in this unique role.
The Royal Devon is seeking to appoint a consultant to our department of respiratory medicine based at the North Devon District Hospital site in Barnstaple.
Our department is friendly, successful and highly innovative, setting the
standard for respiratory care across the South West. We run an innovative respiratory outreach service, a dedicated MND service and are always searching for new ways of working such as acute clinics with cardiologists and maximising the potential of EPIC, our new electronic patient record.
Specialty work is supported by an excellent team of advanced clinical practitioners and specialist nurses. The Trust has a multi-million-pound clinical research facility, is a NIHR Biomedical Research Centre, has a significant development budget and big plans for the future.
Teamwork and family are very much at the core of our values and we take a flexible and fair approach to job planning including the opportunity for annualised job plans that provide greater freedom over the school holidays or planned sabbaticals.
We are based in Devon in the South West of England; a county renowned for its natural beauty including beaches and moorland, excellent schools, good transport links, and a great quality of life. If you are interested in finding out more about the positions available we would love to hear from you. A generous relocation package is available, should you choose to join us.
