A legal business head-quartered in London is seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Manager to join their team. Whilst this role is based in London, it offers a lot of flexibility with regard to WFH. This is a really exciting opportunity for someone tojoin a business with genuine growth plans.

This role is ideal for someone who feels stuck in a narrow AML or Conflicts role and wants to progress their career to a broader Risk & Compliance position.

The purpose of this role is to ensure the firm meets its regulatory requirements and to contribute to the development of the business strategy within the legal sector.

Key roles and responsibilities will include:

Developing a healthy risk culture across the business
Developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures
Guiding directors and feeearners on risk and compliance issues
Answering SRArelated queries
Sharing knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues and developments with senior stakeholders
Creating guidance and training materials
Managing the insurance renewal process and dealing with all insurance claims, reporting to the COLP and COFA
Leading on health and safety reviews
Improving systems to ensure best practice and compliance with the SRA Standards and Regulations
Managing the Risk & Compliance Assistant
