    Description

    We are recruiting a Technical Services Manager to join one of the UK's most reputable main contractors. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technical services manager to make their mark on building services systems working to manage changes throughout a landmark project.

    We are open to candidates with strong hospital experience from a range of backgrounds including main contractors, sub-contractors and consultancies.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Promote the application of the Building Services Department Management Systems and Procedures providing technical support, guidance and direction in overall Design of Projects
    • Assist in delivery of the Building Services Strategy Plan in support of the Business Units Objectives
    • Support all aspects associated with the MEP Technical and Commercial parts of the overall Project Bid are executed in accordance with Pre-Construction Manual Procedures
    • Ensure teams pursue the production of Co-Ordination and Builders Works Drawings for approval and Construction to meet the programme requirements.
    • Ensure the teams implement the process of tracking of equipment & plant from submittal approvals through to samples and mock ups / ordering / FAT's / delivery and quality checks is carefully managed.

    Requirements

    • Over 10 years experience in managing the design on large scale and complex MEP Projects.
    • A Mechanical background is preferred.
    • Experience in all phases of large scale complex projects from Estimating, Pre- Construction, and installation, Commissioning, Demonstration and Handover.
    • Necessary technical, interpersonal and commercial skills to deliver large / multiple MEP Projects
    • Understanding of H&S policies and live energy practices
    • Experience of QMS Systems, ITP & Commissioning Management / Handover plans
    • Mechanical or Electrical Academic / MEP Technical related Qualification
    • IOSH or equivalent H&S Management Training
