    A global property and construction consultancy with over 3000 employees worldwide is looking for a Associate Sustainability Consultant to join the London office.

    Working with real estate investment funds, developers, contractors, private clients and public sector clients, they work to decarbonise large portfolios of new-build and existing building and infrastructure assets.

    With 80% of the buildings that will be in use in 2050 already being built, you will have the opportunity to take a holistic approach toward improving the impact of our current building stock and making a real impact in reaching the UK's Net Zero Targets.

    Historically they have been specialists in cost management and programme management but due to their client's needs they are expanding their sustainability team massively.

    Having spoken to their Head of Sustainability, they are looking to grow the team from 15 heads to 45 heads in the next 18 months and are keen to speak to talented people.

    A constantly evolving team with plenty of opportunities to progress and the opportunity to buy in as a partner after long term service - regardless of seniority.


    Key Duties:

    The key duties will be to provide strategic sustainability consultancy, working with clients and colleagues internally to direct on strategic deliverables and grow strong client relationships.

    The successful candidate should have a holistic knowledge of sustainability and wider environmental, social and governance issues for both the built environment and wider corporations.

    Conduct project, strategic and technical delivery alongside client engagement
    Prepare engaging thought-leadership for social media channels and networks
    Be externally facing and the person should be proficient in driving forward projects and business development activity with an ability to identifying cross-selling opportunities
    Preparing and delivering sustainability strategies, action plans and statements
    Strong experience in developing achievable sustainability, net zero carbon and / or ESG strategies
    Experience of delivering BREEAM, LEED, WELL assessments
    Leading discussions with clients, writing compelling proposals and building relationships
    Assisting business development initiatives in the form of thought leadership pieces and social media articles
    Degree in sustainability or similar field and have experience of developing and delivering sustainability strategies, action plans and statements
    Line management experience
    Ideally chartered or be a practitioner working towards chartership
