About The Job
We are looking for a multi-skilled producer to take charge of our business and economics podcast, The Rest Is Money.
The ideal candidate will have experience in producing audio and video content to an excellent standard, be someone high-profile talent love working with, and relish sculpting the editorial voice of the podcast.
We're looking for someone with an interest in the world of money; if you don't have an economics degree, or have worked in finance, you'll still be across the stories featured in the FT, and be adept at conveying complex topics in a way a wide audience will understand.
As well as creating the audio version of the podcast, the producer will be responsible for creating short video clips to promote the podcast on our social channels and find a new audience online.
We are a fast-growing business with opportunities arising in different areas every day. You'll need to be adaptable and willing to throw yourself into new areas - for example, live event production or commercial pitches. An understanding of the podcasting industry and the 'creator economy' is desirable.
About You
At least three years' experience in an audio production environment
A love of podcasts
An understanding of the audio industry
Comfortable using Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Audition and Premiere Pro
Experience of working with high-profile talent
Good verbal and written communication skills
Adaptability and willingness to try new things
Highly organised and diligent
Keen to take responsibility and 'own' podcasts or projects

We're looking for someone to join us on an initial six month contract on an equivalent annual salary of £35,000-£45,000, depending on experience. We are open to the possibility of this role developing into a full-time staff position.
Predominantly office-based role in London (Oval/Kennington area)
