    13 and annual shift allowance of £1880.1 x 34 hour post (4 weekly shift pattern including 2 weekends per month)

    Brightwell is run by Merton Council and provides an afterschool, weekend and school holiday service for children with disabilities and complex needs aged from 6 to 18 years of age in a purpose built centre which is well resourced.

    We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Coordinator (senior member of staff) to join the existing team of skilled and enthusiastic staff, who is committed to ensuring better outcomes for children and young people with disabilities and complex needs.

    The Coordinator role is part of the management team and has overview of a caseload of children as part of the multiagency team supporting the child and family.

    They have delegated responsibility for day-to-day operational management, including the staff team and the welfare and safety of the children and young people.

    You will work directly with the children/young people and be skilled in adapting activities to meet the needs of individuals.

    You will be expected to work a rota over 7 days per week including regular weekend work. There is a term time rota which includes working in the afternoon/evenings as well as weekends, and a school holiday rota which includes working in the daytime as well as weekends

    You will be suitably qualified (minimum Level 3 or equivalent in a childcare field) with experience of working with disabled children and previous management experience.
