Your new role

As the Procurement Systems Lead - SP2 **you will have previous knowledge of end-to-end procurement procedures and understanding of the importance of these procedures being implanted and effects of failure. While this role will be broad including E-Procurement, Electronic tendering, pay terms and other end to end activities within the procurement life cycle, you will become the SME on Source-to-pay digitalisation processes using our global procurement system Jagger.


The Procurement Systems Lead - SP2 will need to ensure they remain flexible with regards to travel both domestically and potentially regular European trips ensuring stakeholder relationship are build and maintained.

About you
Applicants should be able to demonstrate all of the essential requirements listed below:

Essential

  • Excellent understanding on procurement and/or S2P processes, most importantly know what are key drivers and key concerns of a procurement team and stakeholder that this team will collaborate with.
  • Experience of Procurement master data (i.e. Vendors, materials etc.) would be ideal however having a good understanding of data and how to use this/how data should be treated is essential.
  • Able to makes case for change through data using strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Experience of or understanding of managing process improvement projects and programmes work with users/stakeholders to work out problem and potentially how to improve & plan generation.
  • Understanding of the core phases of the process and IT design & implementation including the required elements during design/build/test/deploy/move to businessasusual
  • Understanding of key financial controls such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), for example understanding of not following processes and the implications.
  • Worked in multifunctional teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Can represent / interact across all levels of the business
  • Good knowledge Microsoft Office packages
  • Highly motivated and can work with minimum supervision
  • Demonstrates perseverance, patience and commitment for long term success
Desirable

  • Italian language skills would be ideal
  • Experience of cloud based S2P solution suites (i.e. Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer etc.) including guided buying, catalogues, Invoicing, supplier networks etc.

Role responsibilities include

  • Subject matter expert and 'goto' person on SourcetoPay (S2P) digitalisation processes including supplier and catalogue enablement, data, workflows and guided buying
  • Works closely with IT function to define and develop projects, deliverables and associated KPIs
  • Contributes and develops detailed solution implementation plans
  • Accountable for all aspects of project management from Procurement perspective (for agreed projects) from inception to delivery, focusing on project planning, scoping, scheduling, executing, and quality assurance.
  • Responsible for leading project meetings, preparing reports, maintaining schedules and cost plans, managing project risk, and all other aspects of the project implementation, including project budgets.
  • Monitors project activities through the entire project lifecycle; evaluates the progress of the project(s) on a regular basis
  • Trains and supports enduser support teams in the tobe processes and ensure this is validation of their knowledge
  • Provides direction to thirdparty operation support partners involved in S2P process
