Within DEI, the Office of Disability Inclusion (ODI) is driving to make JPMorgan Chase an employer of choice for people with disabilities today - and, ultimately, a bank of choice for customers with disabilities tomorrow - through its paradigm-shifting leadership in breaking down barriers, removing stigmas and proving that disability is a word, not a label.

ODI drives initiatives and provides strategic direction to the firm with a focus on four pillars:


  • Create a firmwide corporate environment with the right business strategy and "attitude" to recruit, hire, retain and advance the careers of people with disabilities
  • Establish firmwide policies and strategies that ensure reasonable "accessibility" standards are maintained for employees with disabilities
- "Assimilate" qualified people with disabilities into the firm, as well as into management and leadership positions


The Lead - ODI International will be a key member of the Global ODI leadership team reporting to the Head of Global ODI and Cecil Peters, for local management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategy to drive engagement and improve experience for employees with disabilities already in our international footprint, in alignment with global ODI and DEI priorities and in collaboration with local stakeholders;
  • Conduct review of existing international ODI programs and initiatives, starting with EMEA, and streamline as necessary in concert with overall strategy; influence a shift in culture to drive socialization and adoption of ODI programs/initiatives well as the process for assessing impact;
  • Support people with disabilities (PWD) by establishing and enhancing an ecosystem with the requisite accommodations, tools, policies and procedures;
  • Work with HR and communications partners to develop an awareness and training campaign to help socialize ODI programs/inventory and where to locate information and resources;
  • Increase representation with the disabled community across our international footprint;
  • Advise and support international business and HR leadership on compliance with regulatory requirements relating to PWD;
  • Establish governance forums and mechanisms guiding on policies, programs and precedentsetting decisions; create regular operating meetings with key partners to coordinate efforts, create better alignment and share best practices;
  • Build strong partnerships and execution framework with organizations enabling accessibility and accommodations including international HR, technology, real estate, and facilities;
  • Create reporting framework and identify metrics that will comprise how progress of key performance indicators and other measures of success are tracked (e.g., % of PWD participating in firmwide programs, # of ODI programs, intersectionality, and retention);
  • Partner closely with the LOB / Regional DEI Leads and Market Leadership Teams (MLTs) to stay connected to the needs of the business and markets;
  • Work across Employee DEI and ODI teams to identify how BRGs can support and/or leverage established ODI programs and resources;
  • As role matures, in alignment with ODI global pillar leads and priorities, establish EMEA strategy for Community Development, Business Growth and Entrepreneurship and Financial Health and Wealth Creation for people with disabilities

Qualifications:


  • Knowledgeable and passionate around helping people with disabilities succeed and thrive in the workplace
  • Strong collaboration skills with a proven track record of success in highly matrixed, international organization (past international role or overseas assignment a plus)
  • Exceptional collaboration skills including the ability to work with multiple LOBs/regions/countries, and with internal and external seniorlevel stakeholders to develop strong positive relationships
  • Robust problem solving and analytical skills with proven ability to source and synthesize complex information and data to inform the ODI strategy and measure results
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple concurrent projects endtoend
  • Strategic thinker with strong executive communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • Passionate culture carrier with tenacity, customer obsession, and a balanced focus on 'the what' and 'the how'
  • Promotes a strong controls environment by adhering to risk/control expectations, procedures and processes
  • Seen as a true partner, enthusiastic and consummate team player; ability to promote partnership by fostering a shared purpose, trust and teamwork across teams, businesses, functions, regions, and levels
  • A demonstrable history of being impactful in the DE&I arena, either within work or through volunteering activity
  • Confident presentation & meeting facilitation skills
  • Technically proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
