- Being the SME for all SMCR matters.
- Support the SMCR framework and delivery of its implementation and effectiveness.
- Perform deep-dive reviews into policies and procedural documentation around SMCR.
- Ensure continued compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with stakeholders and senior management to maintain all BAU processes including Fitness & Propriety attestations.
- Reporting to regulatory authorities regarding SMCR compliance including notifications of senior manager changes of certification status.
- Work closely with HR and compliance teams in order to deliver the SMCR agenda.
- Support the development of key communication material.
- Strong SMCR understanding and experience within the financial services space is essential.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and ability to work with SMF as well as other teams within the organisation.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and data.
