- Resolve technical issues in cloud services and collaborate with vendors for system optimisation including Windows and Linux VM diagnostics.
- Interact effectively with group companies and end users, stakeholders, address technical concerns, and provide technical support.
- Monitor cloud system performance, analyse usage, and generate reports for management.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documents and collaborate within a team for successful outcomes.
- Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet), Code Control (GIT), Monitoring (Zabbix, Observium, Graylog, Prometheus).
- Cloud Proficiency: Understand service offerings on major cloud platforms hosting compute resources like AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud.
- High-Performance Computing (HPC) Experience: OS: Linux (RHEL, SLES, SUSE, etc).Filesystems (Gluster, CEPH, XFS) Storage (VLM, iSCSI).Virtualisation (Cloudstack, oVirt, KVM) & Containerisation (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Ideally familiar with cloud development tools and programming in Python, Perl, GoLang for cloud computing with experience of API access and deployment automation.
- Experience in system administration in cloud settings, including server resources, VMs, containers and efficient resource management and HPC.
- Knowledge of cloud-specific security protocols, encryption, and access controls.
