- Source, plan, and deliver training to employees to recognised/acceptable standards.
- Assess competence of subcontractors.
- Contribute to the development of operating procedures and other aspects of the Safety, Health, Environmental and Energy Management Systems.
- Carry out risk, COSHH assessments and writing of method statements whilst ensuring compliance with H&S and legal obligations.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Databases.

Health and Safety Advisor | Plymouth | Inside IR35 | 9 month expected durationThis is an outstanding opportunity to support a Leading civil engineering company who are experiencing significant growth. The Health & Safety advisor is responsible for upholding health and safety standards at single MOD site in Plymouth.
You will be the go-to safety person and will be providing an efficient, well-maintained and safe working environment for employees and visitors by using best SHE practices.
Day rate:
Investigate and report on incidents, dangerous occurrences, ill health, wellbeing concerns and near misses.
Advise and assist site and office-based staff on all aspects of the Company's, Health & Safety Environmental and Energy Systems and procedures.
