Fleet Insurance Account HandlerJob Type:
Permanent
Working within this Niche Insurer dealing with Motor Trade and Fleet Insurances
You will be dealing with account queries and mid-term adjustments in line with agreed delegated underwriting authority guidelines along with some new business processes,
You will underwrite / generate terms ensuring they are presented to account executives in a timely manner whilst achieving the necessary rate increases that insurers require,
You will deal with account executive and colleagues queries by phone and emails within agreed authority limits,
You will be comfortable liaising with insurers and colleagues, dealing with various enquiries that may include understanding & assessing risks and reviewing quotations whilst ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines under the Delegated Authority schemes,
You will share responsibility for dealing with any actions attaching to existing clients on mid-term adjustments and claims and will liaise with the other Account Handlers and Account Executives to ensure that service standards are maintained,
You will be required to respond to enquiries from clients received by phone, letter, or e-mail in a courteous, helpful manner and ensure that all information required by clients is obtained and communicated,
Oversee surveys and risk improvements to ensure these are completed within the necessary timescales.
You will adhere to compliance and regulatory procedures.
