Hunter Savage are delighted to support a well-established company, with over 3 decades of expertise in both domestic and commercial markets for outdoor maintenance through a sustainable product range.

Seeking a Credit Manager to join their team to oversee a team of credit controllers and account managers.
40,000 - £60,000 (Depending on experience)
~ Hybrid working model
~Drive the implementation of credit processes and procedures across the organisation, utilising the ERP system for operational efficiency.
Assess creditworthiness, establish credit limits, and terms for potential and existing customers.
Manage and develop a team of 10 credit controllers and account managers.
Oversee the credit control team's portfolio, ensuring adherence to company processes and payment terms.

Collaborate with sales and commercial departments to streamline order processing and minimise credit risks; direct query resolution within the credit control team.

3+ years of senior credit management experience.
~ Lead teams effectively, minimising aged debt, and maximizing cash collection from National and Key accounts.
~ Hold a graduate degree in Finance/Credit/Accounting, with CICM membership.
~ Exhibit commercial acumen, understanding B2B complexities, and driving business performance through effective cash collection and debt management.
~ Showcase technical understanding, including direct account management with large retailers, proving success in maximising cash collection through collaboration.
~ Demonstrate expertise in optimizing ERP systems for changing requirements, coupled with strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
