    White Horse Employment are pleased to be working with a family owned services company based in Gloucester who are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team.

    This fast growing business are looking for an additional head within their purchase ledger team and you will report into the Purchase Ledger Supervisor. We're seeking an individual who is confident when communicating with suppliers and you will play a crucial part in processing payments and reconciliations.

    This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn and work for a company who offer training and progression within the Finance department.

    DAY TO DAY YOU WILL BE:

    • Inputting GRNs into the ledgers in accordance with purchase orders
    • Verify invoices against POs with proficiency in comparing prices/rates
    • Deal with and resolve supplier queries and ensure timely follow ups
    • Balance purchase ledger with supplier statements
    • Daily invoice printing and preparation for ledger posting

    THE SUCCESSFULL CANDIDATE WILL:

    • Have at least 2 years working in purchase ledger
    • Have a finance degree or studying their AATs
    • Be confident using Microsoft Excel and finance software
    • Have a great attention to detail
    • Quick learner and ambition to progress within a finance department
