Keynsham and District Mencap Society is a local Keynsham based charity that provides social opportunities for adults and children with learning disabilities and neurodivergence.

We are looking for a Deputy Leader for our Go Explore Club in Keynsham.

Our Go Explore Club is a social club for young adults and aims to offer a range of fun, exciting and stimulating activities, with a focus on developing independence and life skills.

This role will support the Club Leader to ensure that people with learning disabilities have opportunities to socialise and be active in the community, make friends and improve their sense of wellbeing. The role also involves helping the Club Leader to plan and prep for activity sessions, and you will be helping to guide and mentor our volunteer team. The Deputy Leader will help to ensure that the individuals who use the club have the level of support they need so that they can access a variety of activities and events.
