    The Opportunity

    Hands-on Electrical Technician required in the midlands, carrying out electrical assembly and installation for a market leader in the design, assembly, and installation of specialist rail improvement modifications on a Monday to Friday, day shift basis, outside IR35.

    Chesterfield, Derbyshire, Mansfield, Sheffield,

    Role and Responsibilities

    Electrical wiring and assembly of components for rolling stock vehicles
    Building wiring looms and competent at crimping
    Fitting of electrical components to large systems and vehicles
    Manufacturing of electrical systems in an engineering environment
    Following electrical diagrams to complete installation and fitting activities

    The Candidate

    You will be a great team worker
    You will be able to operate a variety of engineering-specific tooling

    Essential

    NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an Electrical discipline
    Experience working in an electrically biased position in an engineering environment

    Desirable

    Electrical maintenance experience
    Vast experience with electrical testing and fault finding procedures
    Full UK Drivers License
