    Description
    Barker Ross are currently recruiting for Metrology Engineer for our client based in Dudley, West Midlands.
    Company Overview
    Market leader in the automotive foundry industry.
    Specializes in manufacturing vehicle turbo casing for job-specific and serial production.
    Responsibilities
    Inspect all castings according to company procedures and customer requirements.
    Develop measurement programs for all parts and analyse and report findings.
    Operate CAD software and read engineering drawings.
    Conduct gauge checks using measuring equipment.
    Ensure finished products meet contractual requirements.
    Collect and analyse metrology data for performance metrics.
    Approve or reject raw and machined castings based on quality standards.
    Required Skills
    Proficiency in using metrology equipment, including 3D scanning and software.
    Understanding of production processes; experience in iron castings manufacturing preferred.
    Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
    Methodical and analytical mindset with attention to detail.
    Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
    Benefits
    Salary between £27,000 and £32,000, dependent on experience.
