About the company
AJW Distribution is East Anglia's largest independent roofing merchant. A family run business which celebrated their 25th anniversary last year and prides itself on the service it offers its customers.We have seven depots throughout East Anglia and an Industrial sales office based at our Sawston branch.

About the Role
In the new role as Industrial Sales Consultant you will be a key person in developing and driving the business forward along with the rest of the team. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a knowledge of the roofing world; however, this can be a basic knowledge if they are keen to learn and develop their knowledge.
The main duties and responsibilities will be
Actively researching and targeting new customers.
Able to appropriately promote new products
Servicing and maintaining existing customer accounts.
Demonstrate good time management and organisational skills
Computer literate with Microsoft Suite
Chasing up quotations through to sale
Coordinate and prepare any samples or information/brochures required by customers.
Compile occasional reports as requested.
About you
We would love to hear from candidates who have sale experience, and are driven to succeed.
You will need experience of;

• Ability to develop your own customer base.
• A team player but also has the imitative to work on your own.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as they will be in contact with customers on a daily basis
• With attention to detail being key due to the nature of the business.
• Eager to learn and develop their skills.
• Computer literate and be capable of learning new systems.
