McGeoch Technology Ltd.

is a well-established and expanding manufacturing company based in Birmingham and due to their current projected growth, we are now looking to recruit for the position of Despatch operative.

The successful applicant will be based at our client's production facility in Birmingham city centre.

The Role


Reporting to the Production Manager your responsibilities will be the day-to-day deliverables, packing, booking of transport, archiving all relevant process documentation and maintaining working area.

Working in a team environment.

Your duties will include but not be limited to the following.

  • Packing
  • Booking relevant transport requirements.
  • Archiving process documentation.
  • Creating documentation / updating documentation
  • Support admin tasks

Essential Requirements:


  • Experience of Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail

Desired Requirements:


  • Previous experience in despatch roles.
  • Knowledge of BC14

Hours of Work:


Fixed Evenings + Shift allowance
Monday - Thursday 7:30 - 16:00

Friday - 7:30 - 12:30


Holidays
25 Days holiday plus bank holidays a combination of floating days and compulsory factory shutdown over Christmas period.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£11.00 per hour

  • Birmingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
