About the role
We are looking for a talented and dedicated consultant/architect to join Ekco. This role will involve a range of responsibilities such as Virtualisation, Infrastructure, Security, MS Azure and the M365 stack.


We are a multi-disciplinary, agile team of experts covering activities relating to architecture, engineering, technical support and agile delivery, closely collaborating with our business colleagues and customers to ensure the best possible service to is delivered to our customers.


Job Duties / Requirements of Role
As the Ecko Consultant/Architect you will play a key role in:

  • Providing technical authority on Ekco solutions.
  • Providing guidance and technical assurance as part of Project Governance
  • Participate in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction for Ekco Customers
  • Be able to undertake solution design throughout the project life cycle
  • Be responsible for the production and delivery of SOWs and High/Low Level technical design's
  • The maintenance of design artefacts including support documentation ensuring that any designs produced can pass review and governance
  • When necessary, provide 3rd/4th line support to the most complex Incident and Problem Management
  • Oversee the quality of documentation that is produced by peers in the team
  • Identify requirements, design secure solutions, deliver, test and handover to operations via Ekco's AIS processes.
  • Direct and contribute to storyboarding and brainstorming exercises and run scoping and design meetings or conference calls with clients

About You

You will have:

  • A strong customer focus, with an ability to continually anticipate and meet customers' needs excelling in communicating at all levels within a customer organisation
  • A Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a Consultant/Architect role
  • Technical Design / Architect Experience
  • In depth knowledge of multiple technologies is a must


  • Excellent documentation skills

  • High and Low Level / Detailed Designs, Proposals, and Scope of Works
  • Experienced in Design, implementation, migration, and testing of technical solutions
  • Extensive IT Infrastructure / Hybrid Cloud / Public Cloud experience
  • Cloud and Cyber Security awareness and experience
  • Pre-Sales and Solution Scoping Experience
  • Be a team player
  • Be a clear and concise communicator
