- Maximise sales by staying abreast of market trends and customer expectations.
- Ensure the Foodmarket, Wineshop and Deli Café meets sales targets through effective business analysis and implementing sales methods where required
- Ensure that the Foodmarket and Wineshop is merchandised and ticketed to maximise impact in accordance with company standards.
- To work in conjunction with Head Office in regard to seasonal stock and hampers ensuring maximum sell through.
- To support set up and prepare the Cafe before service, ensuring all standards are adhered to.
- To ensure all staff compliance training is undertaken and recorded in-line with government and Food Safety legislation.
- To train and support staff in giving fast, efficient, and polite service to the maximum of their ability.
- To consider the customer's satisfaction at all times and to handle customer queries / complaints.
- To have a thorough working knowledge of the menus and be able to input with creation.
- To be aware of all security rules and regulations, not only within your own department but in Manchester Store as a whole.
- To carry out any other reasonable request as made by the senior management of the Manchester Store.
- To be proactive with the employee life cycle from recruitment to performance management.
- To identify training requirements, and to organise and follow through on 'on-job' training.
- To have a thorough working knowledge of Health and Safety Policy, and to ensure by good housekeeping that correct standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safely are adhered to.
- Flexibility is a must; customer service can't wait during weekends and evenings
