    Job Title : Caretaker

    Location : LIPA school, Liverpool

    Contract Type : Permanent, Part-Time- 25 hours

    Reporting to: Account Manager

    Salary: £23,000

    Overview:

    We are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to joinour team. The Caretaker will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness,safety, and security of the premises. This role involves a variety of tasks,including maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs. The ideal candidate willhave a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability towork independently.

    Key responsibilities :

    Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify andaddress any maintenance or safety issues.

    Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping,vacuuming, and disinfecting common areas.

    Maintain outdoor spaces, including gardening and snowremoval as necessary.

    Monitor and respond to building security systems,including alarms.

    Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such aschanging light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and painting.

    Assist with setting up and clearing away equipment forevents and activities.

    Keep accurate records of maintenance activities,including work completed and materials used.

    Communicate effectively with staff, residents, andcontractors regarding maintenance issues and scheduling.

    Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations atall times.

    Qualifications and Key Skills:

    Previous experience in a caretaker or similar role ispreferred.

    Strong practical skills, including basic carpentry,plumbing, and electrical knowledge.

    Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in afast-paced environment.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Attention to detail and a proactive approach toproblem-solving.

    Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

    Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
