- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of instrumentation devices such as sensors, transmitters, and control valves.
- As EC&I Technician you will ensure that instrumentation equipment meets accuracy and reliability standards.
- Preventative and reactive maintenance technician
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Collaborate with the engineering team to address and resolve control system malfunctions.
- Assist in the programming, configuration, and modification of PLCs and DCS systems as directed by senior engineers.
- Execute changes to control system logic and parameters.
- Monitor and operate Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for real-time process control.
- Report abnormalities and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Participate in emergency response activities, including shutdowns, start ups, and troubleshooting during critical situations.
- Execute predefined emergency procedures in collaboration with the operations team.
- Maintain accurate records of instrumentation maintenance activities.
- As EC&I Technician you will generate reports on equipment status, issues, and resolutions for review by engineering and management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures during maintenance activities.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
- Provide input for the development of maintenance schedules and procedures.
- As EC&I Technician you will hold an associate degree or equivalent qualification in Instrumentation Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Practical experience in maintaining and troubleshooting industrial control systems and instrumentation.
- Excellent instrumentation (calibration) experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings.
