    This Role

    What we have ahead of us is exciting and unusual, a 'clean sheet' in the majority of areas. In three years, we need to be able to call ourselves an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) who is delivering innovative, lightweight multi-people transit products. We have incredible product foundations and customer led opportunities. To support this journey, we are in the process of defining and implementing an operational structure to own delivery of all TDI's products and operational capability. The programme office is central and a core part of the delivery, and as part of that we are seeking a Project Manager who will take ownership of TDI's projects and feeding into the Programme Office Manager, support the design, develop, test and operational deployment whilst supporting the implementation of tools & methodologies that will be adopted on future projects.

Efficiency is core to what we do and you will be instrumental in developing tools to drive transparency on the project status, to both internal and external stakeholders. Defining and tracking core attributes of the project such as BoM cost, mass, core performance characteristics and departmental performance to ensure we as a business have the data around us to drive quick and effective project decisions. Working within the PMO team you will have an unparalleled opportunity to work cross functionally ensuring alignment and engagement across the team whilst collaborating on a daily basis. You will engage with the Programme Office Manager to track the develop of engineering, quality, operational system processes and frameworks that ensure consistent product delivery and business reporting.

    This role is suited to well organised individuals who excel in analytical thinking and use data-driven approaches to problem solving. The opportunity also requires a can-do attitude and above all, a pro-active hands-on approach to get stuck in and work side-by-side with an incredible, diverse team to develop TDI into a fully-fledged OEM.

    In conjunction with the Programme Office Manager and project stakeholders, ensure the project performance targets are defined and tracked including...

    • Project income & expenditure
    • Design status
    • Procurement status
    • BoM mass / cost targets
    • Deliverable / milestone status
    • Build status
    • Test plan status
    • Performance, quality and compliance attribute status
    • In project / production change content

    Monitoring of the product scope, ensuring any changes are approved, formally released and communicated to stakeholders.

    Creation of Jira / Confluence filters and dashboards to provide a transparent status to project sponsors and stakeholders.

    From Mule development to Start of Production (SoP)and beyond, ensure that product faults / issues are monitored and reported on.
