The Role

As our Finance Business Partner, Programmes, you will be the key Finance point person for business unit strategic programmes at PRS and will be part of our Strategic Finance team.


You will take taking responsibility for the development, management and coordination of the financial element of business cases, programme budget/forecasts, financial reports and assuring that programme benefits are delivered.


The Strategic Finance team are responsible for working closely with the PRS Strategy team to produce market analysis and financial modelling for new initiatives, as well as partnering with our Joint Ventures and Partnerships for financial reporting.

Additionally, we lead Finance transformation initiatives and provide finance business partnering across PRS strategic projects and programmes.


Responsibilities:

As our Finance Business Partner - Programmes, some of your day to day duties will include:

  • Providing full financial business support to strategic programmes and their constituent projects
  • catering for needs of both Strategic programme sponsors and the Finance function of _PRS for Music._
  • Preparing and updating the business cases for constituent projects within a strategic programme, as well as the programme as a whole.
  • Supporting the Programme Director with central project & programme financial reporting and preparing management reports.
  • Supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner with the production of the monthly financial view of the portfolio of projects and programmes for the Portfolio Board.

About you:

  • Solid Commercial Finance Business Partnering experience
  • An accountancy qualification: qualified or partqualified (ACCA/CIMA), or the equivalent level gained through experience.
  • Strong experience of working with nonFinance stakeholders in a business partnering capacity, including analysing financial information and interpreting it for a nonfinancial audience.
  • Experience of working with budgets incl. variance analysis.
  • Excellent data gathering, reporting and analysis skills.
Desirable

Experience of working on the financial aspects of Projects.

The Process
Our interview process for this role is simple and as follows:

  • First stage interview virtually on MS Teams.


  • Numerical ability assessment

  • Second stage interview in person at our London Bridge Hub.

Our London Bridge Hub is based within Hays Galleria and overlooks the River Thames. When you see the view, we are sure you will want to join us in our collaborative working space

We offer a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work from home for 3-4 days per week.
