Female Project Worker

19 hours per week - covering 3 days per week

If this sounds like you then we may have your perfect opportunity providing a first-class housing management service in our Refuge in Sheffield.


As the first point of contact to our customers, we're seeking an experienced Female Project Worker to make a real difference to the lives of our customers.

You will have a proven track record of working with tenancy agreements, completing sign up for new tenants in the service as well as carrying out health and safety checks, monitoring rent accounts and ensure that all maintenance issues are reported.

Sanctuary has their own Learning and Development Academy, who provide a wide range of training courses, open to all.

Shift pattern:
Tuesday am - 6.30pm

Wednesday am - 2.30pm

Friday - 10:30am - 6:30pm


The role of Female Project Worker will include:

  • Supporting our customers to maximise their independence and move forward with their lives
  • Assisting with assessing customers' needs by writing and updating customer notes
  • Being a first point of call to receive and direct all customers queries
  • Developing good relationships with customers, helping them develop life skills
  • Going above and beyond to ensure an excellent service is provided to our customers
  • Working as part of a team with occasional lone working
  • Some health and safety responsibilities e.g., fire safety checks

Skills and experiences:


  • Experience of working with vulnerable customers, people experiencing safeguarding, domestic abuse, mental health needs or substance misuse
  • Experience in working in a housing environment
  • Previous experience working under challenging circumstances
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to use IT systems confidently
